Overview

These Terms govern your use of Captriq ("we", "us", "our"), a product of Bright Leap Solutions, LLC. By accessing or using Captriq, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not use the service.

Accounts & Access

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Not share your account with others

You must not:

• Abuse the system or attempt to circumvent usage limits
• Disrupt the service or interfere with other users
• Use the service for illegal purposes or to violate others' rights
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse data from third-party websites

Subscriptions & Billing

Plans

Captriq offers the following subscription plans:

• Free: 10 captures/month, 1 parallel job, 30s timeout, 250MB storage, 7-day retention
• Pro: $10/month - 300 captures/month, 2 parallel jobs, 60s timeout, 10GB storage, unlimited retention, OCR + AI search, batch capture (10 URLs), PDF export, auto-redaction
• Team: $20/user/month (minimum 2 users) - Unlimited captures, 5 parallel jobs, 90s timeout, 50GB storage per user, unlimited retention, all Pro features

Payments

All payments are handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing date.

Cancellation & Refunds

• You can cancel anytime through your account settings
• Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial periods
• You retain access to paid features until the end of your billing cycle
• If we are unable to provide the service for an extended period (48 hours or more), you may request a prorated credit

Price Changes

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price changes take effect.

Content Ownership

You own your captures. We store and process them solely to provide the service. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process your screenshots for this purpose only.

Screenshots are stored and processed automatically. We do not access, view, or review user screenshots unless required for security, support (only with explicit user permission), or legal compliance.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and use screenshots of third-party websites. We are not liable for any copyright or intellectual property violations arising from your use of the service.

Sensitive Data & User Responsibility

Sensitive Data

Captriq is not intended for storing regulated data such as financial records, health information, or government IDs. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and store any content.

Captriq is not designed to store or process sensitive or regulated information such as personally identifiable information (PII), financial account data, payment card information (PAN), health records, government IDs, or any other data protected under privacy or financial regulations.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you capture, upload, or share using Captriq. By using the service, you agree not to intentionally capture, upload, or distribute content that contains confidential, personal, or sensitive information belonging to yourself or others.

Excessive automated usage or behavior that interferes with system stability may result in temporary restrictions.

Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws when using Captriq, including but not limited to those governing personal data, consumer protection, and data security.

Platform Role

Captriq provides hosting and processing tools for screenshots generated and controlled by users. Captriq does not review, monitor, or assume responsibility for the content captured, stored, or shared by users.

Violations

If Captriq becomes aware that content uploaded or shared through the service violates this policy, contains sensitive information, or infringes on privacy or intellectual property rights, Captriq may remove the content and suspend or terminate the associated account without notice.

Liability Disclaimer

Captriq is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific uptime percentages
• Compatibility with all websites
• Permanent storage of your data

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Termination

You can cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Abuse of the service or fair use policies
• Unpaid invoices or payment failures
• Fraudulent or illegal activity

Upon termination, your access ends immediately, and we may delete your account and data within 30 days.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of North Carolina.

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@captriq.com to attempt informal resolution.

Service Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue features as part of ongoing improvements to the service. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect your use of the service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bright Leap Solutions, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice in the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
